We want to make your stay as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. That’s why we’ve compiled answers to the practical questions we get most often – about rooms, WiFi, food, transport and much more. And if you need anything else, you can always call reception for help.
The reception is generally open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., but during quiet periods, the reception may have varying opening hours.

You can check into your room from 13:00 on weekdays and from 14:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and during the tourist season.
On weekdays, you must vacate your room by 9:00 a.m. on the day of departure, but not before 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and during the tourist season.

Some rooms have safety deposit boxes – in the other rooms, the reception will be happy to help you store your valuables safely.
Smoking is permitted outside, and all our rooms are non-smoking. If you do not comply with the rules, we will charge a cleaning fee.
We allow dogs in selected rooms – you must ALWAYS arrange this well in advance of your arrival.
The price for having a dog in your room is £15 per day. Service dogs with clear ID tags are of course always welcome and exempt from the charge.

Breakfast
Overnight guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast served in Restaurant 1. Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Saturday, Sunday and during the tourist season from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Coffee, tea and water
Throughout VINGSTED, including in the foyer and lounge areas, you will find stations where guests are welcome to help themselves to a cup of freshly brewed coffee, tea, ice water, sparkling water or juice.

Electric charging stations
As a guest at VINGSTED, you can charge your electric car. VINGSTED offers 12 Clever charging stations, 10 at the main entrance and 2 at Hall B. You pay directly to Clever – either via a charging chip or their app, which you can easily download. To start charging in the app, simply scan the number on the side of the charging station.
Taxi
We are happy to help you book a taxi at reception. When you book, we will give you a voucher to give to the taxi driver to ensure that no one else uses the booked vehicle. If you prefer to book yourself, you can contact Vejle Taxa on tel. +45 7020 1222 and Billund Taxa on tel. +45 7535 3506.

Toiletries
Forgot your toothbrush? You can buy basic toiletries at reception.
Ironing room
If you need an iron, ironing board or trouser press, you will find them in the ironing room on the 2nd floor.
If you need to borrow an ironing board and iron for your room, this is also possible. There are four cupboards with ironing boards and irons located around the hotel – in wing 2 on the lower and upper floors, in wing 4 on the lower floor, and in wing 5 on the upper floor.
Shoe shine
At VINGSTED, you are welcome whether you arrive in trainers or smart shoes. But if you want your outfit to look its best, you are always welcome to borrow our shoe shine machine. You will find it at the entrance to wings 1-3.
Massage chairs
The massage chairs are located on the balcony on the first floor of the main building.
Free activities
As a guest at Vingsted, you have access to a range of free activities that offer opportunities for both relaxation and exercise.

Defibrillator
VINGSTED has its own defibrillator, which is located at the main entrance. It hangs on the wooden wall by Wing 1 and can be seen when you stand with your back to the main entrance.
First aid
If you need first aid, we are ready to help at reception. There is a defibrillator outside on the wooden wall by the main entrance.
Doctor
The reception desk can provide guidance and help call the emergency doctor, who can be contacted on tel. +45 7011 0707.
Gym
Our gym follows the reception opening hours and is generally open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please ask at reception for further information.
Disability
We are always happy to help and ensure that all guests have a good experience during their stay with us. We have many buildings and 15 hectares of nature – and not all parts of VINGSTED are equally accessible to everyone. This is something we are constantly working to optimise as we renovate and develop new initiatives.
